[A letter addressed to Reira appears at his shared home address. Given that there is no address or stamp it was evidently delivered by hand, and a sharp nose might detect the scent of wolf about it.

[Tsukikage closes his laptop and crawls out of his room. Light had reminded him that he knew very little of his young master, and outside of LDS, he didn't know about his schooling. He knew Reiji would have provided the basics, but still, it was worth a check.

Thanks to his keen senses, he's able to pick up where Reira is quickly, and soon the arachne is knocking on the newest and nearest doors, alerting the boy of his presence.]

Reira-dono... may I ask a question?

[Shun hates to break this to the kid, hates realizing it himself – but he's rarely been one to fool himself or others about this kind of shit. Ignoring it isn't going to make it better and someone's got to be honest with Reira, but doing this via text seems unkind, even to Shun.

How are things treating you over there? It was nice going to that party, because yesterday wasn't that great for me.

[Reira has likely long returned to the room he currently shares with Sawatari to sulk before Sawatari himself comes back. The manticore doesn't seem to spend much time in the Arc-T these days, instead he either is only sleeping in his room, or flying outside to do...who knows what. If he's feeding himself, or training, or whatever, nobody in the home likely knows, but...he's definitely doing a lot of flying, at least.

It's after one such trip that Sawatari comes in through his usual ceiling entrance to settle into his hammock with a practiced motion, perching in it on all fours to see Reira on the bed down there. Huh.]

Robbie is making his rounds on Christmas day, handing out messily wrapped presents. Finally he makes his way over to Reira, handing him a small wrapped jewelry box.

Okay, good. The lake is clear.

He's been spending most of his time in the last week at Draco's house, only coming home to get food or clothes or something similar. But now that it's free, home feels a little better.

Except, you know, Reira and Tsukikage being mad at him. But Draco's house is almost as bad in the last few days, since, you know, pointlessly murdering Soeki and leaving those scars on Draco's stomach.

So he's back for a little bit, spotting Reira and approaching the child casually. "Hey, uh, Reira?" He's got a bit of a smile on his face.

[Tsukikage has been worried.

Worried about Ron. Worried about Reira. Worried about his family. Especially in light of some of the things he's seen on the network, Tsukikage knows that people coming to his home and attempting to kill his master and son is a very real reality. He's absolutely determined not to let that happen, so he's even been taking time off work, sacrificing some of the luxuries he has in order to train and prepare himself for the upcoming battle.

But he's not alright. As Reira had noticed at the start of when this all happened (before that?), Tsukikage is... not all there. Even though his work is perfect and everything is as orderly as ever, there's a sense of... wrongness that seems to cling to the arachne like a bad stench.

Tsukikage's hair has been fixed since Mitsuhide cut it. It's short, but at least it's no longer choppy and he can still tie it back. It's one of the thing he notices in the mirror. However, when he finishes washing his face gently with a cloth and looks up, he doesn't see himself.

He sees him.]

... I... Is it you...

[There's a clatter as a number of soaps and toothpaste falls from the sink to the floor, but Tsukikage ignores it, instead staring at the mirror. He sounds fearful.]

[ He's thought really long and hard about something that he needs to talk to Reira about, but it's a difficult subject. Finally, he's decided on his actions, so he goes to look for Reira so they can talk. He finds her in her room, so he sits down right next to her, legs pulled up to his chest. ]

Nee-san, can I ask you something about God?

[ Without much preamble, Vriska stalks up to Reira and just throws her hands up in exasperation. ]

Uuuugh, why does no one ever accept apologies!! What do people want???
