I'm glad. You'd probably be safest in the arcade anyway. You can't get in there without a key, right?
I wouldn't be surprised if there are people attempting to steal those to prevent exactly that from happening. It's the safest place for a conduit to hide.
Mitsuhide told me about his plan to lure out the park conduit...I have my doubts that it will work but at least he's trying to do something.

I only ask because I'm concerned that he may have been tricked into being a conduit.
It's like we discussed when this whole thing began, he wouldn't know what he was doing. And it wouldn't be fair to kill him because of that. Which I still believe.
But...after what Mana just confirmed, I think it may be a good idea to check.
He's young enough that if you ask indirectly, you may be able to figure out if he's a conduit.
And if he is, then we need to take steps to do something about it.
If he's not the one responsible for the lake or the park, then you need to hide him in the arcade. If he keeps sneaking out, he'll wind up getting killed.

Lure out?

I can try asking Ron about it, but when he wants to keep a secret he can be really good at it. Maybe if he is a conduit though, that's why he keeps sneaking out?

There's lots of broken glass in the garbage today, and Ron has lots of bandages on...

I haven't asked him yet, but Buddy kept sniffing the garbage cupboard, and it feels important.

That post he made on the network about the park conduit? It's a bluff. He doesn't know who it is.
But he's hoping he can lure them out with that. Or at least lure out a bunch of followers.
He uh...doesn't really seem to care if he kills conduits or innocents.

It's possible. Try asking him if he's spoken to the Fourth God lately. Don't even say the word conduit.
If we can determine that the Fourth God asked him to keep something safe or to do a special job...something along those lines, it's probably safe to say he's a conduit but doesn't realize it.

I'm definitely staying inside then...

I have to find out where he is in the house first, but I'll be careful! The house is pretty big, Tsukikage keeps adding rooms downstairs in case new people need a place to stay.

There's nothing broken, and I didn't hear anything either. The glass is all coloured anyway-it's really thick too, more like what jars are like.

Is there any kind of residue on the glass? If it really was a jar, then maybe there was something inside it before it broke.
Maybe it was something he brought back with him the last time he snuck out.

Blood?

That's all, but it smells weird too.

Maybe I can ask Ron about this stuff then.

...well, yes, if he cut himself on it, naturally there would be blood on the pieces.
But if there's nothing else then it was either an empty jar or something else entirely.
And I don't know why you'd keep a colored jar around if not to at least put a candle in it?

That would be the quickest way to figure it out, yes.
Maybe you should put a bell on him until this situation is resolved. He'd have a harder time sneaking out that way, and it would be easier to find him.

I wouldn't mind coming over. I may even be able to help you find him. If I concentrate really hard, I can tell if there are other people around in places with lots of plants.
It doesn't work inside buildings, but since your house is inside a hill, it might be an exception? I don't know.
But even if it's not, you have plenty of plants around the house that surely saw where he went.
