Right. So how do they interact? Is it as simple as subtracting one from the other to see how much damage an attack does, or is it more complicated than that?

Oh, I think I get it. So is the goal to attack the other player until they run out of points, rather than get all their units off the field? And ones like this one give you points back as long as they're active.

Makes sense. So how many different cards are there? I assume it's not a game like chess where there's only a set handful of different pieces. [ He could be wrong, but just looking at the deck Reira's loaned him there already seems to be quite a bit of diversity. ]

This game seems like it could get pretty complicated pretty fast, [ Claude muses, shuffling through a few more cards. ] I guess it's more about thinking on your feet than memorizing every move your opponent could make? Unless you know your the other player and their deck really well.
