You didn't intend for any of that to happen. You were concerned for your own safety. [He knew how Reira acted before and after their time in Synchro and Ryslig, and he knows how Reira must have acted. He was a blank slate before, someone to be manipulated for war.

The thoughts make Tsukikage angry, and he puts one of his hands on Reira's shoulder, trying to find the right words to say to him] The ones who were at fault were the ones who told you to do those things. Not you. You know that, don't you?

[He's talked about this before, though not with Shun. Hearing his voice say this as the first thing he's heard since moving out from the apartment somehow makes those conversations feel worse. There is a gnawing pit in his stomach that is reminding him of that, larger than it has been while insisting to Light that it isn't the case, but just as he has been doing there, the boy curls farther in his pillows and blankets at home and types.]

[He should probably feel more upset about thinking back to seeing 'all' of that blood, but really for him it was an instant. He saw no more than a drop and he was out like a light, and it makes it difficult to begin associating anything so terrible with this.

If you were passed out, you wouldn't have noticed anything crawling down your throat. You wouldn't be hurting if you weren't struggling against it.

[Overall, this is probably for the better. At least this way the Kid won't have nightmares of something desperately clawing in his mouth or the unpleasantness of it crawling down into his stomach.]
