Not really. There wasn't really much to learn, actually. One day I could hear and understand the plants, as though a switch had been flipped in my brain.

I didn't realize what it was at first, and it took me a while to learn how to combine it with my magic, but as far as simply learning the language...it's just something nymphs instinctively know.
